How does remote training work?
Step 1: Patient choice
Patients are offered a choice on how to receive their training, ensuring their preferences and comfort are prioritised.
Step 2: Suitability assessment
A pre-training suitability assessment via a clinical phone call ensures a patients’ physical, cognitive, and technological needs are met, to improve outcomes.
Step 3: Remote training
Training is conducted up to 48 hours prior to treatment, either via video or phone. It’s a flexible approach to suit a client’s schedule and preferences.
Step 4: Post-training support
After training, patients receive a follow up call from a nurse to ensure they feel confident and supported before they begin self-administering their medication.
